It is with a heavy heart that our store lost part of its namesake this weekend. Our store, DesiLu’s Pet Boutique, was named after our Maltese puppy, Desi, and after Lucille’s sister’s Maltese puppy, Lucy. Lucy was the impetus for our adopting Desi. Sadly, Lucy died shortly before we opened the store in 2011. Desi went to join his friend Lucy this May. Desi was a part of the boutique and many of you no doubt saw him over the years on his frequent visits. We will miss him greatly.
